Born in Baton Rouge, LA and lived most of my life in Livingston Parish. After high school and a brief stay in the U.S. Army, I worked various jobs. Most of those jobs were construction or construction related. I’ve heard my entire life that I was intelligent and should have applied myself more in my education. Due to a severe lack of interest in class, I dropped out of high school at 16 and quickly got a GED. I have always had an interest in writing however I suffer from a lack of focus. I hope to improve that and find my niche.
Of the mostly dead end jobs I’ve held, I have encountered many strange and interesting experiences which I hope help to improve my writing idea pool. I have a very strong connection to Louisiana and more specifically the bayous and swamps, wildlife and natural beauty of the area. The rich culture and history of south Louisiana is huge influence on me which I hope to tap into on some of my writings.
